When he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, he went to work at a Physical Therapy clinic where he helped patients who had suffered injuries at work, from automobile accidents, and sports-related injuries. In 1999, Rick added teaching to his resume, working to train other industry professionals how to more effectively assist their clients heal from injuries. Due to the demand for his expertise, he started Healing Through Movement in 2005. During that time, he traveled North America speaking, authored some of his very first books, and created digital training programs for professionals, including doctors, physical therapists, kinesiologists, personal trainers, and other exercise professionals.

Rick’s methods were so effective and sought after, he decided to shift his focus from training professionals and working with clients one-on-one, to reaching a broader audience by creating home-based injury recovery programs for those in need of a safe, affordable healing solution. In 2008, Exercises For Injuries was launched; an international health and wellness company that provides digital and physical products and programs on a wide variety of topics.
